Software Doesn’t Work – Apple, Please Stop Trying To Update Safari On Me

I’m pretty much a Chrome convert.  And for those situations that Chrome can’t handle (mainly reports in Reporting Services or VM Ware’s web client at work), I switch to IE.  So why do I need yet another browser?!

Irked with it always prompting to be installed automatically since I have an iPod (a correlation I fail to see), I started poking around to see how it could be turned off.  Easier done than said, simply under the Tools menu you can have Apple Software Update ignore Safari. 

please, can we keep him

please, please.  I promise to plug him in every once in a while and give him Internet whenever he asks.
